We have been working with local schools and sharing interesting documents and artefacts with the children.

Pupils can:

  • Experience life as a Victorian servant by meeting a laundry maid, dressing up and using a genuine dolly tub to wash clothes.
  • Play typical games of the Victorian era.
  • Investigate how buildings and the local area have changed over time.
  • Explore the rooms of the house and uncover the mystery as it unfolds!

For more information please call the Education Team on 023 9282 7261.

COMING SOON . . .

We are creating a whole new website to showcase all the archives connected with this project, where you will be able to add your own memories, stories and images.
